We know not everyone can make the trip to Atlanta this October – but that doesn’t mean you have to completely miss out on the 2025 INFORMS Annual Meeting.

Introducing our new Virtual Lite Access (includes livestream listen-only access to Plenaries, Keynotes, and TutORials), designed for those who want to stay connected, inspired, and informed – wherever they are.

Virtual Lite Access does not include Q&A participation and certificates of participation will not be issued to virtual attendees.

(Virtual Lite is an option for attendees only; presenters must still join us on-site!)

What’s Included in Virtual Lite Access?

Livestreamed (Listen-Only) Plenaries & Keynotes
Hear from world-renowned thought leaders and industry pioneers as they explore how O.R. and analytics are shaping smarter decisions for a better world. Presentations will be available in “listen-only” mode.
TutORials on Operations Research
Access a curated selection of tutorials designed to deepen your expertise and expand your toolkit.
Streamed in the App (Mobile & Desktop)
Plenaries, keynotes, and TutORials will be streamed through the INFORMS app, available on both mobile and desktop. Virtual attendees can access these sessions in one place, and in-person attendees can revisit those they missed – especially helpful for keynotes (only one can be attended live due to concurrent sessions). Technical sessions will not be livestreamed.

You asked for it – we built it. We are piloting Virtual Lite Access as our answer to flexible, remote participation. Now, you can experience the best of INFORMS from anywhere, without missing a beat. We know that recent political changes have disrupted many in our global community. As a professional society for students and professionals worldwide, we stand firmly for open inquiry, free exchange of ideas, and international collaboration – values vital to advancing operations research, analytics, and all our related fields.

We’re listening, advocating, and partnering with others to protect these principles and support you.

**Watch Party for Virtual Access – How It Works

The watch party for virtual access is designed to support shared viewing experiences, such as university or company-hosted gatherings. This option provides a cost-effective way for multiple individuals to participate together in the Annual Meeting from a single location.

This option is ideal for institutions or organizations looking to facilitate collaborative learning and discussion in a communal setting.

Please note:

The group rate includes one virtual access login.
Only one individual, designated as the group representative, will be permitted to log in to the virtual platform.
This login may be used to stream content for group viewing at a shared location (e.g., a classroom, conference room, or auditorium).
Individual access and participation tracking are not included for group attendees.
There are no virtual speaking opportunities. All speakers must present in person.

Planning to Attend in Person?

Fantastic! The virtual experience is designed to complement – not compete with – the in-person event. It ensures broader access while preserving the unique value of face-to-face networking, spontaneous hallway conversations, and access to all the exciting attractions (and world-famous biscuits) that Atlanta has to offer! Registered in-person attendees will have the opportunity to access recorded plenary, keynote, and TutORials presentations in the mobile app. No additional fee is required.
